Mark Cheney is the Principal and Owner of RE/MAX Ultimate.
Born in Townsville, Mark moved to Caboolture in his late teens after a few years hard slog behind a tennis racket. Not just once, but on numerous occasions he held the much coveted title of Queensland Tennis Champion.
In 1990 Mark established The Cheney Tennis Centre on Pitt Road, Burpengary - an operation which sculpted the lives of many young local tennis players and brought him deserved recognition in the local community. In 2001 it was game-set-match after the sale of his Tennis Centre and Mark found a new way to offer his services to the public.
With a Mother and a Brother working in Real Estate and already equipped with determination and a drive for success, Mark decided he would give the Real Estate Industry a run for its money. After starting his career with Ray White, Mark bought the LJ Hooker franchise at Burpengary with 2 business partners and decided it was time for him to venture out on his own. Mark opened his own RE/MAX franchise at Burpengary which then expanded to buying the RE/MAX franchise at Caboolture and opening a new franchise at Beachmere (being in the Real Estate industry for over 10 years and is now recognized as the #3 Agent for RE/MAX Australia wide).
On a personal note, Mark has lived in the Moreton Shire for over 40 years and being a father himself, he understands the pressures on families today. Mark lives in Poplar Court, Morayfield on an acreage with his lovely wife of over 20 years, Ilona & 2 of his daughters; Breeana & Jessica. Mark has another 3 children; Jess, Adam & Jenny.
Mark continues to coach and mentor his team just like he did in the old days, with the same ambition and drive, offering the same devotion to customer service with years of expertise in sales and negotiation behind him.
